The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish courses that provides recognition for their academic achievements, opportunities to engage with Hispanic culture, and various scholarships and awards, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
Welcome to Spanish Honor Society
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH), established nationally in 1953, recognizes high school achievement in Spanish and Portuguese. With over 2,900 chapters worldwide, SHH promotes excellence in language learning and cultural appreciation. Our chapter is proud to support Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies through service, celebration, and scholarship.
